Last year 18 of the G20 countries particapted in Earth Hour and millions of people around the world stopped to switch off their lights to remember the importance of protecting this great planet we have.
Spread the world and get together with friends to make this Earth Hour even bigger than before and have some fun doing it by organising an Earth Hour party! Below is our suggestions of things for the party:
- Candles - preferably from natural products
- Food and drink that is from local farmers and producers and is without preservatives
- Stories, poems and/or songs for sharing with others
- A boardgame
- An open heart and mind
Or for those who would like a quiet night, why not read a book by candle light (a book on how to live sustainably would be even better).
